I am the Principal at Touchstone AU. My company provides customized mortgage financing for luxury residences in the high-end mountain communities of Vail, Telluride, and Aspen. We are in partnership with Cunningham Mortgage Company in Aspen who has specialized in these markets for 35 years.

Before establishing Touchstone AU’s presence in Vail Valley, I spent nearly 30 years in corporate banking. My work focused on providing senior debt capital to investment-grade and non-investment-grade companies, and I managed a loan portfolio exceeding $2 billion. I also spent two years in commercial real estate lending and developed a personal real estate portfolio in Denver, which now includes 17 multi-family properties totaling 200 units.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend financial strategy with deep personal knowledge of the communities my clients care about. I take a relationship-first approach, offering the level of trust, service, and insight that discerning buyers and investors expect, especially in places where excellence, privacy, and lifestyle are everything.

My roots in the Colorado mountains run deep. My family has lived full-time in Snowmass since 1988. These mountain towns are more than just markets to me—they’re part of my life story. That lifelong connection gives me a unique understanding of what draws people to places like Vail, Aspen, and Telluride, and how to best serve our clients. I reside in Vail and Denver, allowing me to stay closely connected to the mountain communities I serve.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of two amazing teenage kids and am passionate about sharing the outdoors with friends and family—whether it’s skiing, hiking, or simply enjoying the mountains together.
